She has been with the City Attorney’s office for more than 23 years. Prior to joining the City Attorney’s office, she was an Associate at the law firm of Girardi and Keese. She earned her J.D. at the Santa Clara University School of Law School.

Tamar Galatzan is a Deputy City Attorney and the Acting Supervisor of the Neighborhood Prosecutor Program. She has been with the Los Angeles City Attorney's office for over 20 years and was previously the Neighborhood Prosecutor in Van Nuys, North Hollywood, Hollywood and Northeast divisions.
