For the first time in nearly two decades, Noma won’t be part of this year’s World’s 50 Best — a prestigious ranking of the best restaurants in the world. It’s a list Noma has been deemed no longer eligible for after topping it so many times — five to be exact. They’ll instead be newly inaugurated into an even rarer category, World’s 50 Best: Best of the Best. I visited them recently and got a fascinating

Prior to my visit, the Noma team, a group of brilliant individuals from across the globe, shared a list of their recommendations around the Danish capital, from the finest of dining to grungy after-work watering holes. I tried many of them, and each charmed me in its own way.
